In the Global Contest between Autocrats and Democrats, Which Side Are We On?

I have to submit the entire manuscript this week, but every day, something happens that requires me to update the book! I'm hoping the US will still be on the side of the democrats in the fall. But I’m increasingly worried. More on those worries in my next Substack piece.
I just wrote my Rep. in Congress: "As the son of a decorated USAF pilot who fought in three wars to protect America against Russia, I implore Congress NOT to cut the Defense budget by 8 percent as Secretary Hegseth said minutes ago until THE WEALTHY ARE TAXED FIRST!!"
