Montana is a spectacularly beautiful state. My favourite trip is the Going to the Sun Highway from east to west and back. I live in southern Alberta and have made that trip many times. Montana, and Great Falls in particular, has a role in a novel I recently read by Richard Ford titled Canada (which is where the main character eventually resides). Highly recommend this title which highlights the dynamics of early life circumstances playing out in later life choices (think Putin and Trump)
