Trump doesn't just look weak. Increasingly, he appears muddled -- he doesn't seem to understand the issues, or have the will to educate himself about them.

Remember when he singlehandedly negotiated a peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan? Well, not exactly, of course. It was one of the seven wars he claimed to have settled all by himself. In this case, he announced that he had negotiated peace between "Aberbaijan" (it's located next to "Nambia" in the Trump atlas of the world) and "Albania" (which, as everyone knows, is the alternative spelling of "Armenia"). The assembled leaders humored him, of course. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-peace-deal-armenia-azerbaijan-b2811556.html , and also https://twitter.com/SSestanovich/status/1966611331915677886

Now, Trump's dreaming up ever more fanciful excuses for not acting against Russia and his good friend, Vladimir Putin. He has let his firm deadline slip for a fifth time -- or is it a sixth? We can all speculate what might happen if the U.S. once again became a dependable ally, but Putin's minions in Moscow aren't bothering. Moscow TV pundit Vladimir Solovyev is dropping all pretense and publicly inviting Trump to come over to Putin's side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV69ATyfHWA&list=PLLWQyEN3YRo41QwWb7e8J5YjBX80WmGtG

It's obvious to everyone who and what Trump is. We shouldn't pretend otherwise.
