Dear Substack readers,

First, thank you for all the engagement, comments and suggestions that you have provided me here since joining at the beginning of the year. I have learned a lot from you, In the future, I plan to set up many more ways to interact with me directly in real-time, to further enhance our communications, including Zoom calls, video clips, and live chats.

Right now, though, I need a few weeks of downtime before the school year at Stanford starts again. Look for my next article in the third week of September. (And I reserve the right to reappear here should breaking news or new ideas compel me to do so!)
