Trump made a huge mistake attacking Canada with punishing tariffs. While some version of CUSMA will probably be renegotiated, Canadian citizens would prefer to trade with Europe and other countries until the Trump era is history. We’ve come to realize that economic independence is more important than the easy economic friendship we have enjoyed for the last 35 years.
That’s because MAGA stands for Make America Go Away, which is exactly what a Putin stooge would do.
