Dear Subscribers to McFaul’s World,

Thank you! I am deeply grateful for your interest in my writings here. For ten years, I wrote a monthly column for the Washington Post. But last year, I decided to make Substack the main place for publishing my op-eds and short essays. It was the right decision. I like the freedom to publish what I want and when I want. I also published more. Instead of a column once a month, I now publish here 1-2 times a week. And I am not longer constrained by the 700-800 word limit of the Post’s op-ed page! Thank you all for subscribing to my work here.

I am especially grateful for my paying subscribers. This year, I plan to provide more special content and services for you. And after finishing a major book in the next few weeks, I plan to devote more time and attention to McFaul’s World in 2025. In the comments section below, please send me your ideas for how to improve McFaul World.
