The Republicans and Democrats seem to have switched places on foreign policy since Trump gained control of the G.O.P. I well remember Nancy Pelosi during the George W. Bush Administration pushing resolutions and bills pressuring the Administration toward an irresponsible unilateral pullout from Iraq. Yesterday it was Leon Panetta at the Democratic Convention quoting the Republican Ronald Reagan on the dangers of an isolationist policy in foreign affairs. The Republicans were the party, by contrast, that were responsible for the mindless and irresponsible six month delay in approving the $60B aid package for Ukraine.

well said, the delay of the bill directly led to the loss of Avdiivka. I said to my wife at that time, "the Russians will be looting our flat (in Pokrovsk) by the end of the year". All hope of ever going home is pretty much well gone forever, but all is not lost yet. Pokrovsk is shelled daily...,😐

Listening to President Zelensky’s 90-minute press conference just now on Tuesday morning…. He said he will be sharing his September plan with both President Biden and Trump. I wrote in reply to the video cast: “Mr. President: May I respectfully and forcefully request that under no circumstance should you share your September plan with candidate Trump. He will leak it, as he has done with state secrets in the past, just to ingratiate himself and try to look important. Honestly, you have no obligation to do that. He has maligned you once and will not hesitate to do it again.” I welcome anyone’s thoughts on this. A brief reference to Bashar Assad's use off internationally-banned chemical weapons on Ghouta 13 years ago, that suffocated 1,094 people, would serve notice that she, at least, is paying attention to his war crimes.

Harris differs from Trump in mistaking a "complex" physical system for a "non-complex system in the contruction of the model of this physical system upon which her public policy objectives are based, where a "complex" physical system exhibits one or more "emergent properties," each of which is a property of the whole system and not of the separate parts of this system whereas a "non-complex" physical system exhibits no such propertie. For a large group of the citizens of a country to make this mistake is a precursor to totalitarian rule over this country. This is amongst the findins of the statistician and professor of clinical psychology Mattias Demet that he extracted form the historical record and reports in the book that is entitled "The Psychology of Totalitarianism. Thus, for person who wishes to kive under totalitarian rule, Harris is the candidate for POTUS to vote for. Otherwise, Trump is the candidate for POTUS to vote for.
