Earlier this week, I posted a photo of myself standing outside my first office at the old political science building to mark my 30th year teaching at Stanford University.
I’m always struck dumb by people who comment negatively on any line of pursuit or education negatively with one or two words. It’s ‘woke’ today. You seem to shrug off the criticism better than most. Thanks for the talk the other day.
Your students are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from a professional scientist like you. I would be honored to register for your seminar via VC, if that option is available.
I wish you the very best in the next thirty years at Stanford.
For you, teaching may feel like a ritual, but for real students, every day with you is a new learning experience.
I personally see AI as often wasting time in comparison with the clarity and conciseness you bring.

Appreciate your note
I like how you post all your course syllabi online, Professor.
I’m always a fan of professors - and teachers in general - doing that.
The more open and honest we are about our teaching, the more, I believe, the community will appreciate what we do.
Aloha 😊📚

Thank you, Professor, for all the explanation and information that you have posted here.
👏👏👏 Critical thinking, analysis, and tolerance for other ideas are sadly lacking in our country.
Wow. I'm 77 years-old and ready to go back to college. You're doing good work Ambassador.
Great way to start a new academic year! I'm a fan. Wish I could be in your class, but I'll buy your book.
