Why are reputable media outlets such as the New York Times even entertaining this outlandish claim to buy Greenland? They feed the insanity of it all. Does the media just go along with the circus to get readers and forget their role in the world in the process? They've lost credibility big time.

Historian Timothy Snyder has some more sinister thoughts on the Greenland/Panama/Canada threats. Hope this link works (if not, go to his Substack at https://snyder.substack.com/).

MSM is treating too much of his bs as newsworthy, valid, & possible. It’s ridiculous.

The trouble isn't that MSM is covering these crazy ideas, it's that the MSM is distracted from covering other, more important stories, much like children at a magic show whose attention is easily misdirected.

The question is what's been moved off front- and home-pages. While Matt Gaetz's nomination was rescinded amid critical news stories, stories about equally troubling nominees have mostly vanished since being replaced by nonsensical stories about Greenland.

The MSM should have learned its lessons about this tactic in the first Trump administration.

People have lost their minds, and let their brains be waste water outlets for any refuse that DJT dumps in the main sewerage system spewing out of his mouth/brain - such as it is.

Recovering a sense of discernment between toxic fantasies and flesh-blood realities needs critical care and management to reset any balance. Any decent media enterprise has to take that as a first principal, otherwise it’s all Titicut Follies every hour of every day, without meds or other relief.
